How to Make a Cannabis Cheesecake

Cannabis cheesecake can easily become your new favorite dessert ever! I mean, who doesn’t love a nice big slice of cheesecake, regardless if it is a classic New York cheesecake, luscious blueberry cheesecake or even tempting Oreo cheesecake!? If you have a sweet tooth yourself, why not treat yourself then with a combination of the both best things ever? Making a cheesecake can seem very challenging when you think of all the high-end slices that you have had so far in your life. But in reality, cheesecakes are one of the simplest yet most delicious desserts you can make. Turning a regular cheesecake recipe into a cannabis cheesecake recipe is quite easy and it generally requires simply replacing regular butter with cannabutter. We give you some marijuana cheesecake recipes that we can guarantee you will love!

Crumbly Crust Cannabis Cheesecake

Graham crackers, cream cheese, and cannabis – sounds like the perfect combo! It is one very delicious treat that you can make for yourself or share it with someone and it doesn’t require the skills of the world-class baker. To make this marijuana cheesecake, you will need the following:

For the crust:

 

For the filling:

  • 21 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 ounces sour cream

 

Use a 9×9 inch springform pan and use a bit of cannabutter on the entire surface and the walls of the pan.

In a bowl, mix the ground graham crackers, the melted cannabutter, the sugar and the salt. Place the ingredients onto he bottom of the pan and press them to form the crust. Raise the crust higher for an inch on the walls of the pan.

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Mix the cream cheese with an electric mixer at a medium speed until it turns fluffy. Reduce the speed and add the eggs one by one. Add the sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix until you get an even filling.

Add the filling on top of the crust in the springform pan.

Bake for 45 minutes. Leave the cake to rest for 5 minutes after taking it out of the oven but don’t turn the oven off.

To top this cake, fold together the sour cream with a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoon of sugar. Spread it on top of the cheesecake and place it back in the oven. Bake for another 10 minutes.

When you take the cake out of the oven, run a knife around the edges. Leave the cake to cool and then place it in the fridge for at least 6 hours.

Open up the springform pan and enjoy your delicious cannabis cheesecake! Remember, sharing is caring so don’t keep it all for yourself!

No Bake Marijuana Cheesecake

If you are not a fan of baking, I really can’t blame you! Should you wish to have a nibble on a lovely cheesecake with less hassle, here’s a no back marijuana cheesecake that you will definitely love!

  • Pre-made graham crackers pie crust (you can use the method from the previous recipe, but substitute at least half of the cannabutter with normal butter)
  • ¼ to ½ cup cannabis infused coconut oil or cannabutter
  • 16-ounce cream cheese
  • 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the cannabis infused coconut oil or softened cannabutter. Add the condensed milk. Mix with an electric mixer at a medium speed until light and fluffy.

To this mixture, add the lemon juice and the vanilla extract. Mix with an electric mixer at a low speed until all ingredients are combined.

Add the filling to the premade crust, Smooth the surface out. Let the cheesecake rest for at least 3 hours in the fridge.

After the cannabis cheesecake is set, take it out of the fridge and add a topping of your choice. Caramel, blueberry, coconut, strawberry – if you can dream it you can do it. And that is all you need to do for a quick no bake marijuana cheesecake!

 

 

Oreo Cannabis Cheesecake

Who doesn’t love Oreo!? Now combine that with marijuana and it just got 100 times better!

For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreos
  • ½ cup melted cannabis butter

For the Filling:

  • 4 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • Oreo filling that you took out from the Oreos used in the crust
  • 24 crushed Oreos
  • 3 cups whipped cream

Split the Oreos in half and take the filling out of them. Add the biscuits in the blender together with the cannabutter and blend until smooth.

Place baking paper onto a springform pan. Take the Oreo and cannabutter mixture and press it into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust.

In a bowl, add the cream cheese, powdered sugar, the Oreo filling, and the crushed Oreos. Mix with an electric mixer until the ingredients are combined. You should get a mixture with Oreo crumbles that are visible. Add the whipped cream and fold by hand using a silicone spatula.

Add the filling on top of the crust, smooth it out and leave it to rest in the fridge for 2 hours.

Top with crushed Oreos and voila! Your Oreo cannabis cheesecake is ready for you to enjoy!
