How To Make Cannabis-Infused Condiments

Cannabis-infused condiments are a perfect way to get high while enjoying a delicious meal. Save the paraphernalia for the next session!

While preparing your ‘cannacondiments,’ you should note that the potency of your cannabis-infused condiments depends on the temperature at which you’re cooking, and how long you’re cooking.

For best results, your cooking time should range from 15 minutes to an hour, over medium-low heat (depending on what you’re cooking).

Making Cannabis-Infused Condiments

Homemade Cannabutter 

Cannabutter

Cannabutter is a commonly used condiment in preparing various types of sauce. 

You can use oil, butter, or an animal fat base to prepare your cannabutter.

Materials/Ingredients

  • 7grams (1/4 ounce) of sliced, ground or broken up marijuana leaves
  • A stick of unsalted butter
  • Cheesecloth 
  • Wire Mesh strainer

Preparation 

  • Melt the butter on a low-heat source
  • Add your ground marijuana and stir 
  • Allow the setup to stand for two and a half hours while keeping the heat low. Do not let it boil.
  • Set aside to cool
  • Pour the mixture in a double-lined cheesecloth strainer and allow it to drain into a bowl
  • Hold all edges of the cheesecloth and squeeze out gently to extract more 
  • Stir the butter gently
  • Fill your wax paper-lined Tupperware container 
  • Refrigerate to make the butter firm

 

High-Hot BBQ Sauce

The high-hot sauce gives you the thrill of hotness and highness combined. Adding high-hot spice to your BBQ can give you the yummy delight of enjoying your BBQ in a high state.

 Ingredients

  • A pound of red, hot chili peppers 
  • Five tomatoes
  • A clove of garlic
  • One and a half cup of apple cider or coconut vinegar
  • A half-cup of water
  • Two teaspoons of salt
  • Cannabutter (4 tablespoons) 
  • A teaspoon of olive oil

Preparation

  • Detach the stalk from the chili pepper and grind in a blender
  • Preheat oven to 200°C
  • Peel the garlic clove, place on a tray together with the tomatoes
  • Spray the garlic and tomatoes with olive oil and heat in the oven for 30 minutes
  • Blend the tomatoes and garlic
  • Heat the blended chili pepper in a saucepan over medium heat for 20 minutes. 
  • Add salt, and vinegar to the chili pepper while heating
  • Blend the tomato and garlic to smoothness, and add it to the heated chili pepper.
  • Add the cannabutter and heat at very low heat for 2-3 minutes 
  • Serve with your BBQ

 

Canna-Infused Coconut Oil and Honey

Honey is much loved for its wide array of use due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Infusing your honey with cannabis gives you the advantage of enjoying the medicinal properties of honey and getting medicated too! 

Ingredients

  • Three and a half grams of grounded, sliced or broken cannabis
  • Half cup of coconut oil
  • 300grams (11oz) of honey

Preparation 

  • Put the cannabis in a glass jar 
  • Pour the coconut oil into the glass jar and seal up the glass jar tightly
  • Place the glass jar in boiling water for 2 hours
  • Sieve the infusion using cheesecloth. Squeeze properly to extract the oil from the infusion
  • Now you have cannabis-infused coconut oil.

Making cannabis-infused honey

  • Add 1oz of the cannabis-infused coconut oil to 11oz of honey 
  • Blend the mixture in a blender
  • Enjoy with tea or fruit.

 

Cannabis-Infused Balsamic Vinaigrette

Canna-infused balsamic vinaigrette is a simple-to-prepare condiment, but quite potent to use. Enjoy a savory taste of canna-infused balsamic vinaigrette with salads or soup while basking in the euphoria of highness.

Ingredients

  • Half cup of Dijon mustard
  • Three tablespoons of brown sugar
  • A teaspoon of salt
  • Onion powder
  • A three-quarter cup of THC-infused olive oil
  • One-quarter cup of balsamic vinegar
  • A clove of blended garlic
  • Blended or powdered pepper

Preparation

  • Add the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, onion powder, salt, blended pepper, blended garlic, into a bowl and whisk properly
  • Add the balsamic vinegar and THC-infused olive oil to the bowl
  • Mix properly 
  • Serve with salad

 

Canna-Infused Mayonnaise 

You can enjoy your burgers, deviled eggs, BLT sandwiches, etc. with canna-infused mayonnaise and also get medicated.

Ingredients

  • Two egg yolks
  • Two tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • Four tablespoons of white wine vinegar
  • Two teaspoons of salt
  • One and three-quarter cups of canola oil
  • Two tablespoons of canna-infused coconut oil

Preparation

  • Place the egg yolks, vinegar, mustard, and salt in a food processor and mix appropriately, until you achieve consistency
  • Add the canola oil and the canna-infused oil to the mixture while the processor is still running
  • Add a small amount of warm water to the mixture to maintain the emulsion if it is getting too thick.

Canna-Infused Green Goddess Dressing 

Canna-infused green goddess dressing gives you a savory taste with ‘highness’ while enjoying your salad, chicken burger, or veggie sticks.

Ingredients

  • One ripe avocado
  • Half bunch of parsley
  • A bunch of tarragon
  • Half a bunch of green onions
  • Half bunch of basil
  • Juiced lemon (one had half)
  • Half cup of mayonnaise
  • Six ice cubes
  • A tablespoon of salt
  • Two tablespoons of canna-infused coconut oil
  • A teaspoon of black pepper

Preparation

  • Blend the ingredients using a blender. Blend to smoothness
  • Serve as dressing.

 

Canna-Infused Ketchup

Cannabis-infused ketchup is excellent for enjoying BBQ, fries, and other suitable foods while you get medicated. A great way of combining delicious aura with highness.

Ingredients

  • Two tablespoons of canola oil
  • Four cloves of ground garlic
  • A tablespoon of kosher salt
  • Four tablespoons of tomato paste
  • Two tablespoons of curry powder
  • One diced Spanish onion
  • Four tablespoons of canna-infused honey
  • 1 28 ounce of crushed tomatoes
  • Half cup of brown sugar
  • One-quarter cup of apple cider vinegar
  • Half teaspoon of allspice 
  • One teaspoon of ground mustard

Preparation

  • Heat the oil, onions, garlic, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat for five minutes
  • Add the tomato paste to the mixture and cook for 3 minutes. 
  • While stirring frequently, add the spices and let it simmer for the next five minutes until you perceive the sweet aroma
  • Add the vinegar to the mixture and stir
  • Add the brown sugar and crushed tomato and continue cooking for 25 minutes under low heat. Stir regularly until the mixture gets thick
  • Add the cannabis-infused honey and cool the ketchup for five minutes
  • blend the ketchup in a blender until it is smooth.

Final Word

Cannabis-infused condiments provide a great way to enjoy meals. For beginners, start with smaller doses of cannabis for your condiments. You can always gradually increase the dosage to the level that is right for you.
