My Medical Stash Box
“You wouldn’t know it by looking at my medical stash box, but I am one of the most disorganized people in the Western hemisphere. Only recently, upon acquiring my medical cannabis card through NamasteMD, have I gotten serious about my stash. As you can see I have not one, but two Pelican boxes. These aren’t exactly conducive to transporting to a buddy’s place, but that’s fine because I’m more of a solo stoner anyway.
My Medicine & Brand
I don’t know why, but the medical cannabis card has transformed the way I look at my cannabis life. Trading in my old grocery bag filled with plastic containers for this medical stash box has forced me to shift gears in a way. Maybe it’s the word, “medicine”, that makes my stash a little more serious and perhaps even a bit more on the “grown up” side of things. Regardless of the reasoning, I feel better now. I recently heard Russell Brand say that “your outward environment is a direct reflection of your inner mental state”, and I took it to heart and couldn’t agree more.
So yeah, I guess it was a combination of the medical card and Mr. Brand’s wisdom that helped make me less of a disaster.Never would I have considered such an organized medical stash box and setup without him.
I now look at smoking more like dosing, rather than just getting high for the sake of getting high. I know it’s just a medical stash box, but lest we forget Russell’s words of wisdom. The man’s come a long way from his chaotic and controversial start in entertainment. Him and I shared some disaster-like traits.
A Box Within a Box – Stash-ception
Back to the medical stash box.
As you can see in the photos, I’ve managed to fit a smaller wooden box within the medical stash box. Or as my girlfriend likes to call, “stash-ception”. I find it’s the best way to keep my different strains fresh and tidy and also a little bit more discreet in the case of somebody opening up the main box.
Within it you’ll also find a handful of grinders. “Why SO MANY grinders?!” Good question! The answer is simple. I like to keep certain grinders for specific strains to avoid cross-contamination. This stoner, who just a few months ago was using an old grocery bag, is now concerned about mixing some Super Silver Haze with his Pacific Blue. It’s fun to evolve and this medical stash box is part of my evolution as a cannabis consumer, and as a human being in general.
Most cannabis enthusiasts have a special container in their life, just like this stash box with lock! It’s a container that holds many things very near and dear to their heart. Papers, grinders, filters and more, a stoner’s stash box can tell you a lot about the owner. Is it big? Small? Dirty? Clean? Organized? Or messy? What about the story behind it?
In a Stash Story, we try to reveal the personal touches to choosing a place to store your herb. Your stash box could be a gift, a discovery, or an epiphany. But we want to see it!
