CBD Strains

CBD strains with high cannabidiol content are becoming more popular amongst the cannabis community. But why?

Most strains are commonly very high in THC and they have there own added benefits. In recent years, and with the changes in cannabis legalities, more people are looking at (cannabidiol) CBD strains for the answer. Known to be a non-psychoactive healer with medicinal benefits, CBD eases many ailments without the effects of feeling “stoned.”

What are CBD Strains?

CBD strains are often known as high-CBD strains. This means that the majority of the strain is CBD high and THC low. A high-CBD strain is a type of cannabis specifically bed to have increased amounts of CBD, which is one of the most abundant cannabinoids within the plant.

Now, CBD-dominant strains are becoming quite popular. Normally, when people think about the plant it is a mind-altering experience and can cause some side effects for some. But with the expansion in CBD-dominant strains, it is lowering side effects and still equally as medically beneficial.

Nevertheless, CBD can also be used to balance out the high produced by THC. In addition, when combined with THC, the combination amplifies the pain-fighting and immune modulating properties of cannabis.
